Appliance Repair Technician

Appliance Repair Technician - Full Time

Essential functions:

• Respond to repair requests in residential or commercial environments
• Diagnose and repair appliances using Grand Appliance methods.
• Utilize tablet and/or smartphone technology for daily operations
• Work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Other duties as assigned
• Manage, and daily part inventory received.
• Send an email daily to appliance repair dispatchers listing all parts received.
• Keep up with truck maintenance of work vehicle.
• Communicate work performed to customer.

Requirements:

• Must have five years or more experience repairing residential appliances
• Ability to safely lift 50 pounds using Grand Appliance safety protocols
• Excellent customer service with both customers and team members
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid Drivers' License and Motor Vehicle Record Review
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills a must.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Own all the basic tools required for the job. (Specialty tools are provided)
