An Accounting Manager position is available through Robert Half Finance on an urgent basis at a rapidly expanding and on-the-rise Professional Services company. In this position, you will be responsible for leading daily operations, including maintaining the general ledger system, preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. The ideal candidate should be able to establish and scale company accounting and finance operations. Key responsibilities

- Work closely with FP& A and accounting management to create relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook

- Play a key role in the implementation of NetSuite Financials, which includes system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration

- Contribute to the preparation of GAAP financial statements through data analysis, document preparation, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes

- Provide regular review and analysis of balance sheets and income statement accounts owned by the Senior Accountant

- Lead and encourage the full accounting team performance during the closing process to ensure deadlines are met

- Possess a working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems

- Prepare a variety of technical accounting analyses, policies, and procedures

Job Requirements:
- Critical thinking, problem solving, ability to work independently

- Solid technology and analytical abilities

- 3+ years of recent relevant financial experience

- Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience

- Advanced credentials such as a Masters of Business Administration / MBA or Certified Public Accountant / CPA are preferred

- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset

- Full Cycle Accounting experience

- Deep understanding of journal entries

- Expertise in Supervisory Oversight

- Comprehensive knowledge of month end closings
