SummaryCreative Learning Preschool is looking to hire full-time program floats for our infant, toddler and two-year-old program. Each program has two classrooms. The teacher floats between two rooms acting as an extra teacher when help is needed to ensure low ratios and quality care. Candidate must enjoying working with families as well as children. We work together with families to create a community that empowers children by instilling a positive sense of self, empathy toward others and an appreciation for diversity. We provide care for children 6 weeks-pre-k/4K. We also offer a summer camp for children age 6-12. Our Program benefits from a play based High/Scope curriculum. Teachers plan their own classrooms individual weekly lesson plans including incorporating our downtown neighborhood, the library, Capitol lawn and neighboring museums with guidance and training from in-house curriculum coordinators. Children and staff alike have fun while working and learning. Programming also includes music and movement and Spanish classes for all ages, and gymnastics for preschoolers. Meals are served family style with a focus on food that is prepared from scratch and fresh, sourcing from our on-sight garden when possible. Classrooms often benefit from support staff reducing staff to child ratios as well as smaller group sizes. Wages are based on years of ECE classroom experience and education with starting pay ranging between $10.00-$16.00.
