Our Fortune 100 client is seeking to add a Security Administrator to their growing IT Service Management team. The Security Administrator is responsible for the daily creation, maintenance, and monitoring of user accounts. This individual is responsible for administration of Active Directory, Exchange Email, and other internal applications/systems.

A successful candidate will understand user access mechanisms and provisioning tools, paired with the desire to grow into a long-term contributor of the information security organization.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years IT experience, preferably in a security administration role
  • 1+ years' experience working with Active Directory and Exchange
  • 1+ years' experience with server administration
  • Willingness to take direction and follow pre-established guidelines & procedures
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintaining the security and permission levels of user accounts (creation of accounts, disabling of accounts)
  • Primary responsibility is to provision end user access across multiple applications, domains, and security platforms
  • Oversee client networks and systems operations
  • Assist with client and employee on-boarding and off-boarding process
  • Troubleshoot network/software issues and set expectations with users for follow up and resolution of issues
  • Identify and document incidents accurately and in a timely manner through our ticketing system
  • Proactively assesses potential items of risk and opportunities of vulnerability
  • Ensures that user community understands and adheres to necessary procedures to maintain security
  • Conducts accurate evaluation of the level of security required
