The Physics Department at the University of St. Thomas seeks adjunct instructors of physics for upcoming semesters (summer/fall/spring) including summer 2021 and the 2 academic year. Teaching load generally ranges from one to two courses per semester, depending upon department needs and enrollments.

Possible course assignments include Algebra and Calculus-based versions of Classical Physics, and Introductory Astronomy. Both types of Classical Physics courses are offered with an integrated lecture/lab in a two-period block three days a week and count as a two-course load. We expect courses to be taught in-person, unless classroom occupancy restrictions remain in which case the courses may be taught in a blended or online format. QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants should have at least a master's degree in Physics or a closely related field. Experience teaching at the university level is preferred. Salary commensurate with experience and education.

**This posting is for a pooled, adjunct faculty position for continuous recruitment. Review of candidates is typically done three times annually - spring, summer and fall.**
