The Academic Technologist and E-Learning Developer works collaboratively with faculty, colleagues, College Advancement and Student Services to analyze instructional outcomes and provide expertise in the planning, development, and delivery of effective, efficient, essential learning experiences through all modes of delivery. The Academic Technologist and E-Learning Developer is an essential member of a highly productive Instructional Design Team guided by a commitment to professionalism, accountability, and attention to results. The Academic Technologist and E-Learning Developer will model a forward-thinking approach to curriculum (content associated with the valid and reliable assessment of student knowledge, skills and abilities) development and delivery to include competency based education, mobile learning and integrated e-resource use.

Campus location is in Wausau, WI. Remote work may be considered, however some presence on campus is expected based on College need.

As a member of Leadership, the Academic Technologist will portray a broad institutional perspective that supports the College's mission, vision, and goals while fostering and creating an environment that strives to anticipate and meet customer needs. A Leader will support a shared leadership culture through participation in and facilitation of teams.

In addition, Leaders will live NTCs operating principles of integrity, respect, learning, collaboration, responsibility, innovation, and service.

Job Requirements:
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provides design, development, technology integration, and planning for curriculum and instructional implementation using Articulate Storyline, Adobe products (Audition, animate, and premier Pro) and Animation tools (Vyond, Platogon, Adobe Animate).
2. Provides front-line support for faculty seeking to deliver instruction through technology, including, but not limited to Canvas, Zoom, Panopto, GoReact and Honorlock.
3. Collaborates with Instructional Design, Professional Development, and IT staff to develop and deliver customized training for faculty in the use of various software and technologies.
4. Reviews content and assessments for quality and alignment to curriculum development principles and standards during quality review cycles and prior to release.
5. Remains at the cutting edge of technology-enhanced learning, curriculum, and assessment strategies through professional development.
6. Integrate affordable educational resources into curriculum development.
7. Performs other duties as assigned.

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
The Academic Technologist and E-Learning Developer must possess the following skills and attributes: positive attitude; solid organizational and research skills; strong interpersonal and teamwork skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; outstanding analytical skills with attention to precision and detail; strong computer skills with online instruction applications software products (outlined above); a customer service focus and a strong work ethic.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS
?? Associate degree in graphic design, digital animation, graphic technology, interactive design, graphic communications, visual studies or a related field.
?? Expertise in the application of reverse design principles
?? Experience supporting a Learning Management System
?? Ability to develop, analyze and manage curriculum in multiple delivery modes
?? Excellent communication skills

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
?? Bachelor's degree
?? Experience working with curriculum at a community or technical college
?? Understanding of Competency Based Education curriculum design and delivery
?? Successful track record of working with faculty, learning managers, and other teams in a higher education institution
?? An understanding of the Canvas Learning Management System

?? An understanding of Cengage Unlimited products
