Job Details
This position will provide product design engineering expertise for engineering products that will positively impact and add value to the Production Engineering Group. The primary objective of the position will be to provide accurate product design engineering, quoting and production support services. Assure effective engineering performance of projects and assignments, of varying complexity and duration, which involve any combination of research, development, testing, manufacture, application and installation of all company products according to customer specifications.
Role & Responsibility
Design:
- Apply technical and practical knowledge of mechanical engineering fundamentals to create excellent products that meet reliability, schedule, cost and quality goods.
- Provide Product Design & Engineering for Bobcat Products. Take project concept all the way through engineering, design, production drawings, assembly requirements, quality control requirements, and production methods to implementation.
- Prepare designs, drawings, and specifications for production units manufactured in the Dobris Plant.
- Assist in value analysis and value engineering for current products.
- Assist in New Product Development and Product Re-designs
Job Requirement
- Experience: 5>7 years
- Education & Qualification: Engineering - Bachelors Degree
- Travel Standard:
- 5+ years post qualified experience
- Experience in dealing with multi location team
- Time management and organizational skills
- Interpersonal communication skills
- Primary Degree Holder in an Engineering Discipline
- Must be able to apply engineering knowledge to day to day operation
- Working knowledge of Pro-cad
- Multinational Experience a plus
- Ability to handle multiple demands and adhere to deadlines
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to motivate and coordinate the activities of others.
- Ability to deliver change and continuous improvement in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills

•Education Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent

•Must be able to follow established methods and procedures and perform work accordingly. Must have the ability to work rapidly and under time pressure for extended periods of time in order to meet build requirements. Must possess the ability to read build sheets and blueprints.
•The ability to communicate with supervisors and fellow workers in both written and verbal forms at a level normally acquired through the completion of a high school diploma or GED is required.
•Job specific skills, techniques and safe work and equipment operating practices are learned through on-the-job and classroom training. General instructions are given on recurring duties, operations and assignments; detailed instructions are given on new duties, operations and assignments.
