The Senior Technical Accountant will provide technical expertise regarding accounting procedures and regulatory requirements and be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

Responsibilities:

?? The Senior Technical Accountant will perform research and analysis on complex technical accounting and reporting issues.

?? Research US GAAP and applicable SEC rules and regulations to resolve and document the accounting and reporting for complex technical issues.

?? Prepare and maintain records to bridge between partnership, consolidated, and tax accounting and articulate/translate for stakeholders. Ensure financial statements comply with relevant accounting standards and policies.

?? Prepare SEC and regulatory reporting.

?? Implementation of new US GAAP accounting standards and SEC reporting rules.

?? Prepare the monthly uploads and reconciliation for consolidated reporting.

?? Assist in implementing and maintaining appropriate internal controls.

?? Leverages technology and best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy in consolidated and regulatory reporting.

?? Identify and implement work process improvements that drive efficiency and ensuring that strong internal controls are maintained

?? Answer ad-hoc questions from various stakeholders.

?? The Senior Technical Accountant will participate in special projects as required.

The Senior Technical Accountant will possess the following:

Requirements

?? The Senior Technical Accountant will have 5+ years' accounting experience required; including regulatory/SEC/GAAP responsibilities. Public accounting experience strongly preferred.

?? Strong understanding of GAAP and accrual basis accounting, SEC reporting, tax, audit and other related compliance and regulatory topics.

?? Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and familiarity with financial reporting tools.

?? Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

?? The Senior Technical Accountant will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Masters preferred.

?? CPA required.
