Job Description

Versique's clients range in industry and are constantly hiring great finance and accounting professionals. Our Finance and Accounting team will help you find your next opportunity to put you in a position to achieve your career goals. This would be a typical position we work on:

Responsibilities

• Prepare and record journal entries by compiling and analyzing accounts and transactional information.
• Prepare financial statements and financial analysis on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Prepare financial reporting packages for senior leaders.
• Identify areas for improvement and efficiencies, while looking for ways to automate existing processes.
• Record and manage fixed asset schedule.
• Develop and maintain appropriate internal controls.
• Perform variance analysis and develop a narrative for changes.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting process.

Education and Experience:

• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience
• Licensed CPA
• Public accounting experience required.
• Public accounting plus industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks with competing deadlines.
