Accounts Payable Specialist

Accountemps is seeking multiple candidates for a detail oriented Accounts Payable Specialist position in the South Metro area. The Accounts Payable Specialists will be responsible for high volume processing of both inventory and non-inventory complex invoices. This Accounts Payable Specialist position is a long term contract position for a minimum of 6 months with the opportunity to be hired on for the right candidate. Additional responsibilities of the position includes:

Responsibilities:

• Opening, sorting, and distributing daily department mail
• Maintaining proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, scanning, and filing them into the ERP system
• Managing the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling
• Processing the high volume, full-cycle A/P process
• Complete special projects on an as-needed basis
• Processing complex invoices with exceptions

• ERP experience mandatory
• 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience
• High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational skills
• AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
• Experience with full-cycle A/P and processing of exceptions
