  • The Digital team is in search of a Engineering Manager for Web Development.
  • The Engineering Manager serves as the Agile program leader and will be responsible for leading the Agile transformation and for the successful execution of an Agile team.
  • The Engineering Manager to support a scrum team and the over-all delivery and reporting within their Programs.
  • This position requires individuals who have previously been successful Technology Leads on highly distributed teams, have led Agile/Scrum adoption in the past, and have experience in software delivery as well as those who can drive and influence change and effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.


Primary Responsibilities
  • Accountable for the delivery and reporting of several Scrum Teams within a Program
  • Establishing program level cadence and driving program level ceremonies (e.g. PI Planning, release train retrospectives, backlog refinement)
  • Work with other program leaders to drive the definition and refinement of the program backlog
  • Provide leadership, direction, and coaching to the Scrum Master at the team level
  • Ensure cross-value stream coordination and collaboration
  • Serve as an escalation for impediment removal for the Scrum Master
  • Maintain metrics that provide visibility to stakeholders on program-level progress and quality
  • Act as a liaison to assigned program manager and project managers. Take responsibility for managing dependencies between the program team and third parties, release managers, or between the team and other scrum teams.
  • Develop, coach, and mentor team members to advance their skills and career
  • Provide real time feedback to the methodology team based on experiences with software delivery teams
  • Work cross functionally to align strategy, methodology and execution
  • Be a change agent and foster a learn by doing environment
  • Well versed in latest technologies and tools to lead the team in technical front, including both front end and back end.


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of IT experience including development. Experience should include React / Angular frameworks.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Tech Lead, Tech Product Owner or Agile Coach
  • 2+ years of leading/managing people
  • 2+ years of experience working on large scale, multiple Scrum team projects
  • 2+ years of experience working on mixed methodology program (Scrum interfacing with Waterfall from a dependency perspective)
  • Experience with Rally (CA Agile Central)
  • Solid understanding of software development processes and procedures
  • Understanding of backlog tracking, burn down metrics, velocity, and task definition
  • Understanding of incremental delivery and the value of metrics
  • Excellent English communication skills in written and spoken form
  • Solid interpersonal skills, passion around facilitation, empowerment, and servant leadership
  • Familiarity with common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and better development practices


Team And Team Size
  • The overall scrum team make up will consist of 4 Developers , 1 SA/SM, 2 SDET, Eng Manager. Total are 8 resources

  • a. How many rounds? multiple with multiple panelists. Assumption: the candidates will be referred to us will be pre-screened.
