Primary Responsibilities:
  • Lead or contribute to the development of program or project scope statements, in consultation with applicable stakeholders (e.g. program/project charter, Statement of Work, Business Vision Document)
  • Work with resource managers to drive the identification of the skills, duration and effort required for successful project execution
  • Collect, analyze and maintain financial forecast information (e.g. labor, hardware, software), using input from applicable sources
  • Work with stakeholders to establish/apply quality objectives, criteria, standards and levels using appropriate quality management methods
  • Develop, communicate and implement program/project risk/issue management plans and strategies (e.g. mitigation, avoidance, transfer, acceptance)
This role will challenge your ability to work on complex projects where deadlines and scope shift frequently. You'll need flexibility, agility and the ability to adapt to change while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders in a highly cross-matrixed environment.

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
  • 3+ years of experience working in an Agile-focused PMO
  • 5+ years of project management experience using data and information to make business decisions
  • Experience working in a highly matrixed work environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (ability to create, edit, manipulate data, formulas, v-lookups within spreadsheets), Visio (flows, process mapping), PowerPoint (ability to create and edit executive level decks)
  • If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. When in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are required to wear a mask in common areas. In addition, employees must comply with any state and local masking orders
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • PMP Certification
  • Agile Certification
  • Healthcare experience
  • Experience in Microsoft Project (update and maintain projects)

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $79,700 to $142,600.
