Accountemps is in the process of recruiting a Part-time Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk with a company in the Construction/Contractor field. As the Accounting Clerk, your skillset will become a vast contribution to the International Construction Company. This Accounts Payable Clerk opportunity will be located in the Oshkosh, Wisconsin area and will be a long-term temporary-to-full-time position. In this influential department, there is a possibility for further career growth and advancement. The Accounts Payable Clerk position will require to match and batch code, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks.

Major responsibilities

- Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail

- Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling

- Assist with internal and external audits as needed

- Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time

- Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department

- Provide customer service to internal business partners

- Execute additional tasks as needed

- Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents

- Fullfill full-cycle A/P

Job Requirements:
- Proficient with spreadsheets and databases

- Knowledge of Enter Invoices

- Strong familiarity with Credit Card Reconciliation

- Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired

- Issuing Purchase experience

- Answering Inbound Calls experience

- Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

- Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

- AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

- Great attention to detail
