Position Summary:
Electrical engineering intern/co-op position with responsibilities in the areas of product design and development.
The candidate will work in the product development engineering department under the mentorship of electrical and mechanicalengineers.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Will be focused on the control and integration of electrical-mechanical systems in the areasof:
- Motor control
- Algorithm development and improvement
- Network communication via CAN per SAE J1939
Additionally:
- Performs upfront design analysis of technically complex nature, to determine capability of new designs to meet input criteria and requirements.
- Effective communication within a cross-functional team and the ability to draw conclusion and make recommendations based upon inputs from multiple functions.
- Travel to customer locations with sales staff to observe applications and collect information necessary for addressing specific customer needs.
- decompose complex problems into tasks lists and provide timing estimates
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Requires current study towards a four-year or advanced engineering degree.
Must be able to show legal authorization to work in the United States. No Visa sponsorship provided.
