Position Summary:

Electrical engineering intern/co-op position with responsibilities in the areas of product design and development.

The candidate will work in the product development engineering department under the mentorship of electrical and mechanical
engineers.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Will be focused on the control and integration of electrical-mechanical systems in the areas
of:
  • Motor control
  • Algorithm development and improvement
  • Network communication via CAN per SAE J1939

Additionally:

  • Performs upfront design analysis of technically complex nature, to determine capability of new designs to meet input criteria and requirements.
  • Effective communication within a cross-functional team and the ability to draw conclusion and make recommendations based upon inputs from multiple functions.
  • Travel to customer locations with sales staff to observe applications and collect information necessary for addressing specific customer needs.
  • decompose complex problems into tasks lists and provide timing estimates


Qualifications

Qualifications:

Requires current study towards a four-year or advanced engineering degree.

Must be able to show legal authorization to work in the United States. No Visa sponsorship provided.
