Where you'll work:
At our Owen, WI facility we are part of the Dairy and Culinary division and we make Cheese powders, meal seasonings (mashed potato seasoning), dairy flavors and cheese sauce for our retail customers.

We are part of our community and participate in several community initiatives throughout the year!

What you'll do:
This position, as an integral part of the Site Leadership Team; set the overall continuous improvement (CI) strategy and manage execution for the respective technology and functional areas.

  • The scope of the role influences all site activities (Manufacturing, HR, Finance, Engineering, QA, Supply Chain, etc.) to contribute to operational and overall business improvement in a systematic and sustainable manner.
  • Team Development act as a change agent
  • Aligning the site KPI structure with functional and global metrics.
  • Supporting the selection, execution, and reporting of key loss reduction initiatives at the site and eliminate barriers for the teams so they can see success and faster improvements.
  • Educating team members in the principles and tools of our continuous improvement pillars.
  • Being the process knowledge expert and develop in-depth knowledge of all technologies and processes onsite.


Qualifications and skills

What you'll need to be successful:
  • Bachelor of Science degree related to Engineering, Business or Food Science
  • 3-5 years of success in Continuous Improvement initiatives with proven success with large scale projects and being a change agent champion.
  • Experience with implementing and utilizing production systems.
  • Experience in food, chemical, or pharmaceutical industry preferred
  • SMED and Kaizen experience.
  • Must be open to 10% travel.
