HIRING: ACCOUNTING MANAGER As the leader of the Accounting department, the Director of Accounting will be responsible for owning the timely, accurate, and efficient delivery of the books and records. You'll take the lead in growing the team, evaluating/improving upon processes, and partnering with key stakeholders. Reporting into the VP of Finance, you'll have the exciting opportunity to continue to build out your own team to help meet the fast-changing Company goals.

In this role, you will???

  • Direct and manage accounting operations and the general ledger team to ensure integrity and accuracy of financial statements. Ensure financial statements are consistent with U.S. GAAP
  • Develop and continued management of internal controls and best practices
  • Provide leadership over general ledger accounting, revenue, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and tax compliance
  • Provide technical accounting leadership on significant accounting transactions.
  • Lead any internal and external audits or examinations
  • Partner with Finance team members to help analyze and explain P&L and Balance Sheet variances

Qualifications include???

  • Undergraduate degree in accounting and CPA license is preferred
  • 8+ years of G/L Accounting experience including 3+ years of staff leadership experience
  • Strong functional accounting knowledge including an understanding of US GAAP and the SOX 404 Framework
  • Experience directing the establishment and maintenance of accounting principles, practices, procedures and controls for the maintenance of fiscal records and preparation of financial reports
  • Effective management and supervisory skills including strong communication skills, including the ability to articulate Company's financial results, accounting policies, and procedures in layman's terms; comfortable interacting with all levels of the/an organization, including C-suite executives, project teams, and department managers
  • A strong team orientation and ability to build a first-class accounting / finance organization

Compensation: $100K to $125K + 10% target bonus
