The Enterprise Customer Excellence Group (ECEG) brings together customer-focused functions from across the enterprise to provide a holistic approach to critical points of interaction with Wells Fargo customers. The group, which includes the Enterprise Complaints Management Office, the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence and Net Promoter System, is responsible for understanding the causes of issues that affect customers, and providing solutions that ensure customers' needs are understood and supported. The group is also accountable for ensuring regulators' expectations are met and that employees have the tools and training necessary for success.

Conduct Management is responsible for intake/conducting/documenting/researching internal investigations and developing/executing internal investigations programs.

Responsible for managing an internal investigations team and executing risk-based internal investigations programs with low to moderate risk and complexity. Provides leadership, communication, technical expertise, and direction to facilitate timely and high quality delivery of internal investigations deliverables.
Manages the implementation of procedures, controls, analytics and trend analysis to ensure effective and proactive execution of internal investigations and regulatory reporting of nternal investigations activity for area of responsibility. Analyzes trends and emerging issues and works with management to develop and implement department policies & procedures to maximize efficiency, improve quality of services and ensure compliance with government regulations. Resolves escalated issues. Escalate issues of potential significant risk to senior management. Consults with line of business to balance risk and control efforts. Manages the use of internal and external data, including publicly available information. May lead projects and initiatives with significant exposure to the bank following investigative protocol. Communicates with internal business partners, line of business management, law enforcement, customers, and vendors. Manages a team of Associate Managers, Officers and/or Sr Associates or cross-functional teams in accomplishing goals and priorities.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience investigating one or a combination of the following: employee relations issues, Title VII complaints, or policy violations
  • 2+ years of leadership experience

  • Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive-level leaders
  • Ability to manage multiple small to medium sized projects simultaneously
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Ability to research, trend, and analyze data
  • Highly refined and professional verbal and written communications
  • Investigative interviewing skills
  • Experience identifying, analyzing and resolving complex employee relations problems
  • Ability to manage a high volume of Employee Relations cases
  • Experience handling complex employee relations issues consistent with company protocol such as investigations related to alleged discrimination, harassment or retaliation
  • Ability to mentor and train less senior staff
