Head Start Teacher

The teacher would work collaboratively with the Kelliher School District in the preschool classroom at Kelliher Elementary starting in August 2021.

As a teacher you’ll help develop the classroom environment; you’ll plan and implement daily activities and assessments; you’ll observe and record child development and behaviors; and you’ll work side-by-side with assistants, aides and volunteers in the classroom.
 

Requirements: Teacher is required to hold a minimum of an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in child development or early childhood education. Early Childhood teaching experience preferred.­­ Please submit proof of an associate’s or bachelor’s degree.
Must have a strong commitment to BI-CAP’s values of collaboration, innovation and compassion as well as a respect for diversity. Applicants must pass a DHS Background Study and meet DHS & MN Rule 3 licensing requirements.
Full-time, 40 hours/week, 10 months: August to May with benefits during the school year. Wage depending on qualifications.
