Qualified candidates should have BS Electrical Engineering, 3+ years of hands-on design experience in analog and/or digital design for circuit design and board layout, Knowledge of IEC 60601, and Medical Device experience.location: Milwaukee, Wisconsinjob type: Contractsalary: $55 - 63 per hourwork hours: 8am to 4pmeducation: Bachelorsresponsibilities:+ Analyze and correct complex product design issues, using independent judgment.+ Conduct or design advanced prototyping and testing.+ Conduct advanced problem solving, identify potential solutions, and evaluate them against component and sub-system requirements.+ Ensure electrical design and documentation complies with medical safety and EMC/EMI standards+ Create documentation adhering to quality procedures, regulations, standards and industry best practices under Design Control+ Work effectively in cross-functional teams consisting of Program Management, Operations, QA/RA, and Marketing+ Complete electrical design and failure mode effect analyses+ Create electrical schematics and bill of materials+ Designs printed circuit boards (PCB) for unit testing+ Review and/or creates board layout designs+ Develop PCBA level test cases and procedures to ensure that the PCBA meets electrical specificationsRequirements:+ Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)+ Experience with Mentor Graphics and/or Allegro+ 3+ years of hands-on design experience in analog and/or digital design for circuit design and board layout+ Knowledge of IEC 60601-1, 3.1 edition Safety and Essential performance and IEC60601-1-2 4th edition Electromagnetic disturbances+ Must have experience integrating, testing, and verifying complex electrical systems+ Medical Device experience required\#LI-ES2qualifications:+ Experience level: Experienced+ Minimum 3 years of experience+ Education: Bachelorsskills:+ PCBEqual Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.
