Position Summary:
This role is responsible for assisting in the development & industrialization of new I/R packaging initiatives, cost optimizations, quality improvements, and improved line efficiencies. Ensure that all packaging systems provide adequate protection and preservation of product quality, conform to marketing and marketplace requirements, and are optimized with respect to cost, labor, machinery, handling and transport. Collaborate internally and externally to build relationships in order to continuously improve technical skills and personal development. Support his colleagues in creating and modifying packaging specifications through SAP transaction.

Key Responsibilities:
Implement Innovation & Renovation Packaging Projects
??? Ensure on time/on budget delivery of projects in line with consumer needs, the business strategy and the operational set-up.
??? Coordinate and execute packaging trials necessary to qualify and industrialize new or improved packaging components, systems and equipment. Analyze and report results.

Ensure Packaging System Performance & Productivity, Continuous Improvement
??? Identify and pursue cost reduction and quality improvement opportunities, through investigations of materials, machinery and packaging systems.
??? Work with packaging component vendors on new packaging initiatives, continuous improvement, and cost reduction initiatives.
??? Provide expert knowledge for packaging processes mastership
??? Provide technical support and packaging expertise to internal customers, including Marketing, Operations, QA, Engineering, Purchasing, Creative Services, and others.

Develop & leverage global packaging network to provide state of the art technical continuous improvements in the plants
??? Ensure Safety, Quality and Compliance of our Packaging
??? Ensure full compliance with company policies and regulatory bodies regarding packaging materials, operation and quality standards, including CoC validation and documentation for food contact packaging.
??? Communicates with manager and AG leadership on a regular basis regarding status of project work, budgetary concerns and proposed general direction.

Sustainability
??? Understand existing local waste management streams to prioritize sustainable solutions development.
??? Close internal and external collaboration to develop optimized long-term solution.

Experience and Education Requirements:
??? BS degree in Packaging Science, Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
??? 1 + years of packaging/process development experience in CPG or related field of work in factory environment or equivalent supply industry experience.
??? Basic knowledge in packaging material, filling & packing operations and consumer/customer driven package design
??? Position requires approximately 20-50% travel.
