Senior Accountant

Our client is looking for a responsible for a Senior Accountant to be responsible for the accounting operations of the company. Responsibilities include financial reporting, maintaining accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares monthly financial statements, including supporting schedules and analysis
• Establishing accounting practices and policies, and the maintenance of its fiscal records, and ensuring that such policies are properly documented and followed
• Oversee the operations of the accounting department
• Forecasts short-range and long-range cash requirements and obligations, as a basis for maintaining adequate funds.
• Prepares ad-hoc analyses and special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends

Qualifications:

• BA/BS in Business or Accounting, 5+ years experience
• CPA a plus
• Willingness to office (proper Covid protocols are in place)
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, meet deadlines and be able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and continuously improve.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills, with an attention to detail
