If you enjoy utilizing your analytical skills to solve problems, enjoy being creative and working in a hands-on manufacturing environment where safety and quality of the utmost importance, this may be the position for you.location: Waterford, Wisconsinjob type: Permanentsalary: $48 - 60 per yearwork hours: 8am to 4pmeducation: Associatesresponsibilities:+ Organize, plan, commission and maintain production lines.+ Assist in the collection and reporting of the overall metrics of production.+ Support production supervisors in the understanding of the production metrics, while presenting them with opportunities for improvement.+ Perform time studies using conventional stopwatch techniques along with time study software and data collection tools to maintain production standards.+ Assist in the auditing of routings to update and determine variations and causes.+ Analyze and facilitate improvements to existing operations by incorporating new methods and processes. Identify and correct workers, material, machine, maintenance, and methods losses.+ Coordinate new equipment purchases, installation, and qualification. Analyze new equipment performance.+ Assist in the training of operators, maintenance, and quality on new equipment.+ Assist in the creation of all operational guides, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation for the equipment/processes through proper reviews/approvals.+ Investigate operational problems affecting production and/or quality and address them in a systematic, methodical manner.+ Investigate, develop, propose, and implement cost reductions in manufacturing processes utilizing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives where applicable.+ Contribute in project proposals and process improvement plans.+ Assist in the lay-out of the process flow of any acquired, transferred or start-up operations.+ Assist in the continual improvement program by offering input on the complexity, feasibility, justification, and cost savings associated with the ideas.+ Contribute in all Safety program meetings and help implement all safety and ergonomic changes needed within production.Qualifications: Associate degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related and 2 years' experience in manufacturing operations and processes, or a combination of both.\#LI-KC1qualifications:+ Experience level: Entry Level+ Minimum 2 years of experience+ Education: Associatesskills:+ QualityEqual Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.
