As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for account analysis and reconciliations, financial statement preparation and consolidation, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Submit your application today!Your responsibilities in this role- Be a part of various department-wide initiatives- Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)- Achieve compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures and controls by working with business partners- An endless desire to improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process- Administer monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP- Arrange monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting- Arrange quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors- Complete other projects as required- Compose Balance Sheet account reconciliations*Please note that all candidates are required to provide 2 recent supervisor or manager references in order to be considered for employment.Please submit your resume and call Jordan Lynch at for review and consideration.Requirements- Accomplished in analytical, quantitative and social skills- Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities- Highly capable of analyzing financial data and quickly creating accurate reports- Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience- We're looking for people with financial reporting systems proficiency- Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity- Bank Account Reconciliation experience- Adeptness in Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation- Audit Activities experience highly preferred- Background working with month end closings- SOX internal control assessments (Section 404) experience- Ability to meet deadlines- Ability to work well with functional department managers- Understanding of corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required- Current and relevant ERP system experience- BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are highly desiredAccountemps, a Robert Half Company, matches skilled accounting and finance professionals with remote or on-site jobs on a temporary and temporary-to-hire basis.
