YOUR ROLE

  • Embrace Henkel's vision and values
  • Manage & Lead engineering department in delivery department PDI including the maintaining records and improve on key metrics in the engineering department
  • Lead & Maintain a direct relationship with customers (internal & external), supplier, contractors, customer service, production control, production, R&D, and regulatory agencies
  • Lead & Monitor and Support product quality of daily production
  • Lead effort to clarify manufacturing instructions to ensure repeatable operations
  • Leadership and development of the engineering staffing needs including hiring, training, mentoring, and motivating employees
  • Manages and schedules all workload for the engineering department
  • Oversee all disciplinary actions in accordance with established policy and consistency
  • Support the implementation of the SHEQ Management System and continual improvement systems such as OHSAS 18001, ISO14001, ISO9001, TS16949, and 5S
  • Participate in site continuous improvement activities and collaborate with cost chase ideals and execution
  • Collaboration on preventative maintenance and manufacturing excellence
  • Perform special projects as assigned


YOUR SKILLS

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field, preferable chemical.
  • A minimum of 5+ years experiences in Engineering
  • SAP knowledge required
  • Expert knowledge in Microsoft Offices
  • Excellent math and statistical analysis skills (Six Sigma Green Belt preferred)
  • Expert knowledge in using A-3 and 8D.
