YOUR ROLE

  • The Lead Engineer will be focused on delivering value to our customers within the Pressure Sensitive Adhesives business through on-site product / technology coater demonstrations and troubleshooting.
  • The role also includes applications-based technical support at assigned regional customers for product recommendations, problem solving, complaint handling, and value delivery / quantification projects.
  • Collaborates as technical liaison between our customers and our internal team including product development, manufacturing, supply chain, and marketing.
  • Provides timely technical support for assigned regional customers including product recommendations, complaint investigations, and analytical problem solving. See attached job description.
  • Position can be home based.


YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or similar degree is required.
  • 5+ years of technical service, engineering, or similar experience is adhesives, coatings or a related industry is required.
  • Experience in the Pressure Sensitive Adhesives is a plus.
  • Hands-on coating and/or converting expertise (mechanical / application equipment aptitude) in at least one technology area is a must, for example: hot melt, UV curable, solvent-based, or water-based adhesives and/or coatings, or converting operations (slitting, cutting, etc.).
  • Willing to travel approximately 40-50%, primarily in the USA and occasionally MX/CAN.
