Controls Engineer Responsibilities
- Develops electrical and pneumatic circuit designs documented in AutoCAD
- Creates BOMs, system documentation, customer user manuals
- Works in harmony with the mechanical engineering group, as well as other functional teams
- Integrates new technologies into equipment to meet customer specifications, deliver high quality, and at a competitive market price
- Conduct start-up and troubleshooting of equipment in-house and at the customer s facility
- Be the customer s technical support expert
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 3+ years of related/progressive experience
- In-depth knowledge of AutoCAD, HMI design, PLC Ladder Logic, industrial networks, electrical codes, Microsoft Office software, and safety requirements
- Capable of up to 30% travel (including international travel) for customer installation, start-up, and training
- Experience with Fanuc, Motoman, and Panasonic brands is highly desired
- Salary: $70K - $80K, based on experience
