Controls Engineer Responsibilities

• Develops electrical and pneumatic circuit designs documented in AutoCAD
• Creates BOMs, system documentation, customer user manuals
• Works in harmony with the mechanical engineering group, as well as other functional teams
• Integrates new technologies into equipment to meet customer specifications, deliver high quality, and at a competitive market price
• Conduct start-up and troubleshooting of equipment in-house and at the customer s facility
• Be the customer s technical support expert
  
  

Controls Engineer Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 3+ years of related/progressive experience
• In-depth knowledge of AutoCAD, HMI design, PLC Ladder Logic, industrial networks, electrical codes, Microsoft Office software, and safety requirements
• Capable of up to 30% travel (including international travel) for customer installation, start-up, and training
• Experience with Fanuc, Motoman, and Panasonic brands is highly desired
