Schneider School of Business Economics.The Dean of Curriculum and Senior Diversity Officer: As both a key institutional leader for all curriculum matters and for College-wide diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, the inaugural Dean of Curriculum and Senior Diversity Officer will have a rich portfolio at St. Norbert. This dean/SDO will lead on curricular initiatives; work to embed diversity, equity, and inclusion holistically within the St. Norbert curriculum and related academic units in support of the college's broader strategic priorities in this area; and support the areas supervised below. The dean/SDO serves under the direction of and reports to the vice president of academic affairs and is a member of the Vice-President of Academic Affairs Council and Academic Affairs Leadership Council.As Dean of Curriculum, the dean/SDO will supervise or chair Academic Service Learning, the Center for Global Engagement, the Core Curriculum Committee, the Curriculum and Educational Policy Committee, the First Year Seminar, and the Honors Program. As Senior Diversity Officer, the dean/SDO leads the development and implementation of proactive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in support of the college's strategic plan to create a learning and working environment where all have an opportunity to succeed. In this capacity, the dean/SDO serves as a member of the President's Core Leadership team and is a frequent guest of the President's Cabinet.Qualifications: The Dean of Curriculum and Senior Diversity Officer must possess an earned doctorate or terminal degree in a discipline offered at SNC or in a related field; a record of excellence in teaching, scholarship, and research that warrants appointment as a tenured associate or full professor; demonstrated successful administrative leadership; and a commitment to promoting diversity, inclusion, and shared governance.Additional information, including profile containing a full list of responsibilities and qualifications, is available here.How to Apply: Nominations, applications, and inquiries may be sent in complete confidence.
