We are currently recruiting for an experienced Account Executive for a client in Minneapolis, MN. The ideal candidate will both maintain existing client relationships and establish new accounts. The role features a base salary and uncapped commission. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to grow their sales career!


At least 1 year of professional, B2B sales experience required.


Job Type: Full-time


Salary: $50,000.00 to $70,000.00 /year

Responsibilities for Account Executive

  • Help to establish the market brand by using sales strategies to achieve budgeted sales goals
  • Maintain relationships with clients and respond to their needs to keep a positive relationship with all client accounts
  • Prepare marketing and sales reports and develop new strategies to uncover new market growth
  • Manage a sales networking plan and develop new client relationships through targeted social media marketing campaigns
  • Call on new clients and set up demo meetings and sales presentations
  • Work closely with the marketing team and account managers to deliver the best options
  • Attend trade shows and networking events when necessary to develop new leads
  • Responsible for proper pricing on invoices of current and new clients
  • Assist the Sales Manager in the development of customer's category management projects

  • Negotiation - skillfully conduct deals or sales with others, both inside and outside the organization, to arrive at a mutually satisfactory settlement

  • Extroverted - outgoing and assertive with a likable personality


Requirements for Account Executive

  • Bachelor's degree - all majors welcome
  • 1+ years of professional, B2B sales experience
  • Hands-on experience with CRM software and account management systems
