YOUR ROLE

  • Test chemical and physical properties of materials to determine conformance to established formulas and standards. Plan, execute and document experiments and communicate results. Retain samples for future evaluations.
  • Inventory and maintain stock of laboratory supplies and chemicals. Maintain 5S levels in Quality areas.
  • Assist in investigation of product complaints, including recording all testing information and distributing them to the team.
  • The ability to learn specific, practical techniques and apply this knowledge to solve technical problems
  • Time management and excellent oral communication skills
  • Computer skills: MS Word/Excel/Teams, SAP Quality Module. Record test data into SAP.
  • Ability to work overtime as required (on any shift) to support business need



YOUR SKILLS

  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • CQT preferred.
  • 2 years of demonstrated experience in analytical laboratory
  • Specialized training in metrology equipment and scientific instrumentation required
  • Microsoft Office knowledge (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Advanced knowledge in SAP desired. Skills: Customer service orientated, project management, effective communication, leadership, sense of urgency, initiative and determination to achieve.
