Overall 10+ years of experience as a BA

Domain is extremely crucial here so please source candidates who have prior experience in Agtech and Sustainability space.

General BA with other domain expertise will not work here.

Description: This position supports the Truterra Insights Engine software platform. The BSA is expected to work with the business to develop and write requirements, maintain software documentation, lead discussions with the software developers, perform software UAT and regression testing, and investigate bugs and defects. The BSA will also work on ad hoc projects related to the Truterra platform such as outlier analysis and data collection.

35% Business Analysis
Works with the business (field team, subject matter experts) to obtain, write and refine feature requirement for the product (Insights Engine)

Works with the product team / development leads to create 'user stories, acceptance criteria'
Engages and coordinates with UI/UX (user interface / user experience) team to generate designs / mock up's as needed.
Present final requirements to developers
Supports the Lead BSA on the product team
25% Testing
Perform QA (quality assurance) of new features developed by the Development team
Lead end-to-end testing efforts (regression testing)
Organize and lead UAT (user testing)
Lead demos of new features during UAT, write test scripts and share testing results
20% Product Support
Act as level 3 support for investigation of bugs and defects in the Truterra Insights Engine production environment.
Log tickets into JIRA (ticketing / tracking system)
Manage progress of high priority tickets with development team and business users
10% Documentation
Create, update and maintain software design documentation.
Assist with other Truterra documentation needs such as release notes, training documents and other information guides as needed.
10% Misc. activities
Assist or lead ad hoc projects as part of the overall Truterra program.
This may include data outlier analysis, environmental modeling strategy, and data certification efforts among others.

Required:

5 - 7 years of experience in IT
1+ years of experience in Agriculture Sustainability

Prior experience working on a consumer-facing web application
Ability to manage and execute multiple competing priorities
Prior experience in the working in an Agriculture technology setting (application, team, support)
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to work seamlessly with multiple business partners, both internal and external including offshore web developers
Knowledge of Project Management and SDLC methodologies (Waterfall/Agile)
Ability to work outside normal working hours with offshore developers

Preferred:
Experience with JIRA or other agile project tools
Experience working with offshore developers in time zones that are 8+ hours different
