Responsibilities
- Execute audits on quality systems, internal and external
- Conduct root cause investigations and implement corrective actions, eliminating sources of failures
- Review/approve material substitutions
- Champion APQP activities on new programs
- Develop and implement process controls
- Ensure products meet requirements
- Organize 3rd party inspections
- Ensure timely quality records submissions
- Implement effective improvements in the quality system
- Bachelors in related Engineering or ASQ Certified Quality Engineer
- 3+ years experience in quality roles for manufacturing
- Expertise in process control implementation
- Strong blueprint reading knowledge (weld symbology, GD&T)
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
- Strong visual acuity (color perception)
