Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for an Industrial Engineer 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in New Town, ND. Essential Duties:
Analyzes and designs sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel.
May establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations.
Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems.
On the basis of these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods.
May assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilities.

Basic Qualifications:
2 Years with Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) related field OR 0 Years with Masters;
2 years of experience in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing or the Aerospace Industry.
2 years experience with process flows, manufacturing principles and production operations.
2 years experience with simulation programs, manpower modeling, and scheduling techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:
Proficient in MS Excel in order to perform various analysis (Pivot tables, charts, graphs, VLook Up's, etc.)
Experience reviewing and interpreting Blueprints and 3-D models
Experience working hands-on in a production assembly line environment
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
Experience providing innovative techniques focused on improving product designs and tooling assemblies or equipment
Experience in Aerospace/Aeronautics
Documented experience working in a robust IPT environment
Strong expertise using the full suite of Microsoft Office Tools
