The position is within WIM Operations - As a Business Initiatives Consultant within the WFAM Operations Initiatives & Acquisitions group, the selected candidate is a seasoned professional with a background in operations. The role leverages strong partnerships across WFAM Operations as well as other internal groups to effectively coordinate surrounding initiatives, which many include launches of new products, system deployments and upgrades, and various other ad hoc projects.

The successful candidate will have a strong ability to:

  • Effectively represent operations in various capacities and forums, and help bring subject matter experts together for effective and efficient collaboration;
  • Develop a working knowledge of various aspects of the operations organization, including an understanding of how we fit into the support model of the organization;
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships across all groups within operations as well as the organization as a whole including but not limited to product, distribution, data, and technology;
  • Participate in corporate initiatives and projects to organize and improve support capabilities and efficiencies;
  • Evaluate operating processes and controls for potential risks and enhancement opportunities;
  • Drive for results, conveying a sense of urgency and bringing issues to closure despite obstacles and opposition;
  • Demonstrate outstanding flexibility, teamwork and leadership across all levels of Wells Fargo Asset Management and its affiliates.


Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning



Desired Qualifications

  • Investment industry experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of project coordination or support
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Outstanding problem solving and decision making skills
  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
  • Ability to articulate issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of staff and management
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced deadline driven environment



Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

WI-Menomonee Falls: Min: $94,500 Mid: $135,000
MA-Boston: Min: $113,400 Mid: $162,000
