Enterprise Finance drives financial management for the company and maintains and enhances risk and financial controls. Key functions within Enterprise Finance include finance and accounting; Treasury; corporate development, mergers, and acquisitions; Data Management and Insights, the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence, Enterprise Shared Services, Business Process Management, and Corporate Strategy. Enterprise Finance informs shareholders, regulators, taxing authorities, employees, and leaders of the company's financial performance through earnings releases, investor meetings and conferences, and meetings with regulators and credit rating agencies, following appropriate reporting guidelines. They also maintain and enhance risk and financial controls and lead many of the company's shared services functions including corporate properties, security, and global services.

Wells Fargo Strategic Sourcing is currently seeking a Strategic Souring Manager 2 who will support the US Contractor Resources Program.

This role will be responsible for managing a team that works directly with hiring managers to understand their contractor staffing needs. Once they know what the needs are, they will work with the staffing suppliers to ensure they are bid out to get competitive suppliers.

The team will also handle any negotiation of the bill rates for the contractors that are coming in.

The role will partner with various businesses to understand their forecasted demand for contractors. This role will enforce supplier compliance with US Contractor Resources Program.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage a team of Strategic Sourcing Consultants and be responsible for the overall management (hiring, training, development, coaching, engagement, feedback, & corrective action)
  • Develop and manage processes for clarifying contractor resource needs with managers
  • Develop and manage processes for reviewing contractor resource needs with suppliers
  • Develop and manage processes for completing initial screening of candidates to be presented to managers for final review/interview
  • Establish and distribute regular reporting of key program metrics
  • Implement program controls to ensure supplier compliance with US contractor program
  • Ensure suppliers prepared and aligned with various businesses' forecasted contractor demand

  • Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented employees, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing employees, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks


Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in direct sourcing, contract management, or a combination of both
  • 2+ years of management experience
  • 3+ years experience working with external or internal Managed Service Provider (MSP)



Desired Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of contract negotiation
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of sourcing methodology
  • A BS/BA degree or higher
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills



Other Desired Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience with Vendor Management System such as Beeline, Fieldglass
  • Demonstrated experience with temporary staffing or recruiting requirements


Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
