Job Description

An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join Merck as supplier data and declaration expert Supplier Data Coordination Expert within Life Science. In an international team of experts, you will be responsible for evaluation, coordination and managing of supplier data for e.g. composition and origin data for chemical products. The role is based in Milwaukee, WI. Partial home office is possible.

With your acquired product and process knowledge you will
??? Identify, document and track data availability
??? Coordinate activities based on data needs e.g. be in contact with suppliers, request supplier data, review and evaluate received supplier information
??? Manage and evaluate the received supplier information in relevant databases
??? Evaluate materials based on chemical knowledge
??? liaise with various internal units such as supplier quality and site quality to compile information.
??? liaise and interact with various internal sites also outside US.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in chemistry or equivalent
- 1+ years' experience and interest in working with databases such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Office 365 or other material management databases
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree preferred
- Quality background is an advantage
- A solution-focused thinking and customer-focused mindset
- Relevant work experience is an advantage
- Business fluent English language skills
