At Wiley, we welcome you for who you are, the background you bring, and embrace individuals who get excited about learning whether online or by book. Learning is for everyone, and so is our workplace. Bring your experiences, your perspectives, and your passion. It's in our differences that we empower the way the world learns.

We're looking for a Writer and Product Developer to join our expanding team in the field of applied psychology. In this role, you will help us create products and services that offer people with insight into their relationships with others-one of the most immediate and impactful aspects of the workplace.

How you will make an impact:

As a Writer and Product Developer, you will contribute to projects that involve a high level of creativity and abstract problem solving and take part in every phase of development from concept through the finished product. This includes brainstorming the product experience, writing, editing, and potentially doing multimedia production work. Our ideal candidate will combine strong conceptual and analytical skills with exceptional writing abilities and a willingness to learn new technologies. Because the position contributes heavily to innovating and conceptualizing new products, a background in a creative field is a plus. We are seeking someone who is curious, inventive, and inquisitive, while at the same time able to create practical, concrete work. A strong candidate will have intuition about how people learn and change, along with an interest in how people are motivated and how they think.

We are looking for people who have:

  • Strong writing skills
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
  • Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to work in a team-based organization
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of applied social sciences preferred
  • Knowledge of user-centered design principles preferred
  • Preferred: B.A. or B.S. in Psychology, Philosophy, Humanities, English, or a related field
