The Organizational Development Manager is a multifaceted role that interfaces with various stakeholders, enterprise-wide. This position is responsible for embedding organizational change management (OCM) practices into the organization's operations to achieve the desired business outcomes.


The Organizational Development Manager will provide structure around all areas of organizational design, change management, culture, leadership/team effectiveness, and support for other strategic initiatives. This position is tasked with making organizational improvements across all departments through evaluating and identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and effectiveness.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Collaborate to facilitate developing change management and organizational design improvement including programs, tools, solutions to increase individual and organization capability, organizational redesign and process reengineering
  • Work on start to finish organizational design projects to create new business functions; creating and validating design principles that include organizational structure, effective services delivery, delivery processes and process flows.
  • Champion a strong continuous improvement culture to ensure deployment of scalable, simplified and standardized processes
  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate leadership
  • Collaborates closely with HR Information Systems, HR Operations, other HR cross-department colleagues, including project team members, to ensure alignment and integration of program objectives for successful implementation and results
  • Works closely with the overall Talent Management team and HR Business Partners to evaluate and support the needs of the business by creating tools and resources to improve the assessment and management of talent as well as being an integral part of annual performance management goal setting.
  • Must abide by and enforce all organizational policies and procedures.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate's degree with 5-7 years of Organizational Development experience; preference will be given to those with a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline and 3 years of progressive experience with Organizational or Talent Development.


SKILLS:

  • A successful Organizational Development Manager must demonstrate leadership skills that align with the mission, vision, and values of the Company
  • Ability to create structure around ambiguous assignments and manage complexity in terms of the work and stakeholders to deliver results in a compressed timeframe
  • Use best-in-class instructional design techniques to deliver new elements while meeting budget and timeline requirements
  • Strong foundation in problem solving, analytics and project management principles and tools
  • Strong communications skills; superior editing, writing, and critical reasoning skills and ability to influence stakeholders
  • Broad thinking and perspective of current learning and development trends and change management best practice
  • Display excellent leadership skills with a philosophy of creating a high-trust culture that empowers employees as individual contributors and fosters a strong team environment.
  • Must have strong Microsoft Office Suites computer skills.
  • Must have strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Must have the ability to maintain a professional demeanor.
  • Proficient in MS Office suites and with a Performance Management System
  • Must have ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Domestic travel 50%
  • Other duties as assigned.
