ResponsibilitiesThis position is part-time. The base schedule will be every other weekend. Essential Job Duties:Completes admission registration for all patients and obtains appropriate signatures on all admission forms.Prepares and assigns medical record charts on new patients and enters admission information into software systems.Communicates with all units regarding patient admissions.Forwards paperwork to correct departments regarding registration and admission of patients.Ensures accurate patient census status from census verification by making corrections in patient software programs.Accurately enters all patient admitsEnter patient voicemail info timely and consistently updates log on admits and discharges.Accurately enters all patient admits, transfers and dischargesAssists with various clerical projectsAll employees of Prairie St. John's are expected to adhere to safety policies, safe work practices, and other hospital policies. Employees are expected to complete mandatory training on time and attend mandatory meetings.In order to meet the essential functions of this position, employees must work as scheduled.All staff at Prairie St. John's may be required to work in different areas/units and varying shifts depending on the business needs to the facility.Performs other duties as assigned or as requested.QualificationsPosition Requirements:Organizational abilityExcellent communication skillsExcellent skills using Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
