Duties will consist of financial modeling on various financial products as well as measure, analyze, and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans. Your other duties will include advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and preparing reports for management. This Pricing Analyst role, which is located in the Janesville, Wisconsin, is a full-time employment opportunity.What you get to do every single day- Keep tabs on monthly and quarterly performance through the comparison of actuals versus expectations, ensuring that business partners handle their resources- Work alongside cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations to ensure plans are properly executed- The ideal candidate should be a highly flexible individual who is comfortable with large amounts of information and adept at managing expectations- Support Area/Segment-level Bookings on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis, as well as P& L forecasting- Provide valuable foresight and decision support through effective Business Intelligence (BI)- Understand and be able to explain internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending- Present and monitor forecasting reports- Drive monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required- Work with Accounting on the monthly and quarterly financial close process- Work with senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization- Survey performance to date and assess potential opportunities and risksRequirements- Active problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity- Skills in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly desired (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)- Strong communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations- 3+ years of experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)- Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience preferable)- Prior knowledge in Spreadsheet and ERP system- Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills- BA/BS degree in finance or a related field- Expertise in Perform Trend Analysis- Proficiency in Analyze Trends- Ad Hoc Financial Analysis experience- Solid understanding of pricing analysis- Understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools requiredRobert Half Finance & Accounting matches skilled professionals with remote or on-site jobs in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, audit, taxation and more on a full-time basis.
