DescriptionSupport the day-to-day functions of the Payroll department as a Payroll Clerk at a growing company Accountemps has partnered with in the Eagan, Minnesota region. The position seeks a candidate who is skilled in communicating with both the internal team and outside customers while being part of a dynamic, fast-growing team. The Payroll Clerk job duties include data entry, reconciliation of timecards, paycheck distribution and providing statements to various departments. The Payroll Clerk position is looking to be filled on a short-term temporary employment contract.Responsibilities- Conduct clerical duties such as filing, scanning, faxing, photocopying, etc- Build and run custom reports- Update data into spreadsheets and the payroll system- Contact employees via email and phone to obtain timesheet approvals- Data entry into spreadsheets and the payroll system- Craft and deliver training to employees on the use of proper payroll practices, including timesheet entry and online methods of accessing pay statements- Compile a system of administering and distributing reportsInterested in learning more?
