General Description:
Primarily responsible for processing payroll, payroll liabilities, union reporting and payments, maintaining employee files, record maintenance and health insurance benefits.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collect and Organize Timesheets
- Process payroll timely and accurately as required by the company and union agreements.
- Accurately record employee's personnel information into payroll software
- Analyze, record and pay payroll liabilities appropriately and accurately
- Analyze and remit monthly union liabilities to respective funds on a timely basis
- Assist in quarterly payroll liability payments and recording including but not limited to 941 reports, state and federal unemployment and any other payroll related items as requested
- Assist in annual payroll and union audits as requested.
- Assist in transition to paperless system
- Coordinate and administer health insurance benefits and 401k programs

- Knowledge of basic accounting principles preferred
- Experience with Processing Payroll and Payroll Liabilities a must
- Experience with onboarding employees, health insurance processing and 401k program preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Performance of the job may require sitting, handling items, and working with fingers to type, complete paperwork, and handle other administrative functions.
- Sedentary physical performing non-strenuous daily activities of administrative nature
