So let's talk today.What you will do You will be responsible for customer advocacy, intake, and demand management supporting Building Solutions North America (BSNA). You will work with the Business to prioritize, sequence and plan for the quality delivery of projects to plan. A consultative and strategic approach will be needed to translate business needs to project plans aligned cross-functionally with Solutions Business and Operations Teams as well as with IT Solution Centers and Delivery Teams. How you will do it Serve as overall IT engagement leader for the 300+ Branches/Field and HQ facilities of the $9B North America Building Solutions business segment, covering the HVAC, Fire, and Security businesses. Lead IT engagement activities, provide thought leadership on strategic direction, synthesize IT investments with corporate strategies and priorities, and ensure successful delivery of all IT investments andservices. Understand short and long term Operations (BSNA, Branch, Real Estate, Environment and Health and Safety EH) to include thorough knowledge of application in support of business plans and objectives, IT investments and assets, cross-industry technology and business trends, and competitive environment. Formulate an IT strategy that enables Operations and business strategies. Lead the creation and continuous improvement of a business capability and IT enablement roadmap. Revise roadmap on at least an annual basis and support with investment proposals including capital requirements and business cases. Capture, aggregate, and prioritize a portfolio of IT investments to enable needs as defined by the Building Solutions North America business capability transformation roadmap. Lead execution of Branch Operations and Real Estate, EH and IT investment portfolio to achieve scope, schedule, financial, and quality commitments through operating a metrics-based management system, ensuring adherence to principles in the solution lifecycle management process (i.e., toll gates, Agile Methodologies). Champion Branch Operations priorities through IT investment portfolio governance process to ensure alignment of projects with highest priority business objectives, leverage of assets and practices, and synthesis with broader corporate-wide goals. Lead the ideation and high-level planning of IT projects including specification of high-level business requirements, formulation of business process and technology solution options, creation and vetting of business cases, and high-level project planning (scope, schedule, & budget). Incorporate process standardization and simplification improvements in high-level designs to enable enterprise-wide leverage and streamline the IT applications landscape over time. Spearhead trade-off analyses and assessments (project timing, technology approaches, requirements prioritization, etc.), support solution design and testing activities, assess overall quality of solution and fit with business capability needs, ensure go-live readiness of Business and IT communities, and measure business results after solution stabilization. Establish, maintain, and achieve Service Level Agreements for IT services. Champion understanding, support for, and value of IT investment portfolio. Serve as the "glue" bringing together Business and IT communities to achieve common goals, and secure active participation and strong advocacy from stakeholders, customers, suppliers, and industry bodies.
