Located in Hartford, WI Salary: $20-$33/hrPosition: 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician (Direct Hire) Location: Hartford, WI Pay Rate: $20.00-$33.00/hour Schedule/Shift: 2nd shift, Mon-Fri (2:30pm-10:30pm) Terms: Direct Hire Job ID Number: 1955 Brief Job Description: Maintain and repair all equipment, to complete work safely, competently, and on-time to minimize equipment down time. Escalate repairs as appropriate to outside contractors with approval of Maintenance Supervisor. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment and assist in the development of concepts and solutions to manufacturing process problems. Troubleshoot basic and complex equipment problems and perform repairs to resolve problems. Participate on cross-functional teams to improve plant operations and equipment as needed. Perform PLC programming with comprehensive understanding of control systems. Practical experience with automated equipment and robots, HVAC equipment, simple electrical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and machine tool operation. Knowledge of metal forming, welding, machine shop equipment and fixture building. Can design and build basic components. Able to understand unplanned events in the plant and can react to contain, determine root cause and correct those events quickly and properly. Knowledgeable in Safety requirements and ensures other team members understand and comply with those requirements. Can train on safety requirements and basic electrical systems.
