The Treasury Services department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis serves as fiscal agent for the US Treasury's Bureau of the Fiscal Service supporting the Retail Program. Our department provides and supports various services related to the issuing and redemption of US savings bonds and marketable securities. This position provides analytical and project management support for the department. Primary responsibilities include: Analyze general business functions and operational processes for improvements and/or enhancements. Design and implement effective solutions for business opportunities. Coordinate projects that have multifunctional or broad organizational impact. Coordination activities include developing plans, completing risk assessments, delegating work assignments, monitoring and reporting progress, and preparing necessary communications for a variety of audiences, including senior management. Provide analytical support and serve as a consultant, subject matter expert, and liaison for assigned tasks. Develop and deliver communications, such as proposals, reports, project documentation, presentations, and procedures. Learn and support department automation and associated technology systems. Respond to user/management requests for information, including developing ad-hoc reports and queries from applications, databases, and/or management information systems. Provide leadership, work direction, support, and training to less experienced analytical staff. Perform other duties as requested or assigned.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with coursework in Business Administration, Business Planning/Project Management, Statistics, and/or other analytically focused degree programs. Project management experience preferred. Zero to three or more years of analytical and/or project management experience preferably in a financial or operations environment for a level I, 3-5 years of related experience for a level II, and 5-8 years of related experience for a level III. PC proficient. Highly proficient in MS Excel, Access, and Project. Experience generating reports and queries from databases is strongly preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with strong collaboration and consensus building skills with an ability to manage relationships at all levels of the organization. This position provides support for the Treasury fiscal agency functions, is risk rated Moderate, and as such requires the incumbent be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident alien with at least three years of legal residency in any visa category.
