Job Information

Supervises manufacturing and production process, production equipment of the entire plant, ensures that production goals and quality standards are being met and implements production, health and safety policies

Oversees the planning, development, and implementation of Lean operations and Lean transformations within the plant.

Makes sure that Lean principles are applied through the production processes at early stage and manages the continuous improvement of the production processes to improve the efficiency of the plant toward excellence.

Role & Responsibility

Manufacturing Engineering

Control of the production and future vision of what can be improved
Provides direction and priorities of improvements of the processes using Lean approach
Continuously challenges his organization to provide the best service and support at best cost to production
Directs the development, planning and execution of manufacturing methods and technologies
Maintains the safety, quality and efficiency of manufacturing processes, ensures that company policies are followed
In collaboration with ME EMEA elaborates a vision to keep the technologies and processes up to date, using best practices and benchmark solutions in line with Lean principles
Plan costs budget for his department and CAPEX budget for the plant, controls expenses and set priorities

Lean

Plan and provides Lean trainings to improve the Lean knowledge of the team and other departments
Train and coaches the Lean specialists in his team
Challenges the existing processes to remove waste
Manages the DPBS Lean oriented modules linked to his responsibilities
Supervises the improvement plan and coordinates resources in order to achieve the planned targets on time
Supervises the material and information flow design, continuously challenges current situation and manages future state
Controls and contiuously improve the layout of the plant in relation to the material flow, manages changes and keeps layout up to date

Staff management

Leads the development and the implementation of the Lean and ME organizational LRP
Secure the overall capability of the organization (Training plan)
Supervise, train and mentor direct subordinate , ensuring proper direction, tools and training to be successful.

Quality

In collaboration with ME EMEA works on continuously improving the process in terms of quality results: product conformity, process capability, scrap reduction, rework reduction.
Performs key BU QRQC with his team related to process problems
Supports the quality in problem solving linked to process definition, supports for PQT improvements, production BU QRQC, Customer satisfaction escalations.
Support P-FMEA and control plans elaboration

NPD

In collaboration with EMEA NPD team, represents the plant operative interests and manages the integration of new projects into the plant flow and layout
Plans at early stage the onboarding on new projects to identify on time process needs, risks and challenges for solutions.

•Education Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent

•Must be able to follow established methods and procedures and perform work accordingly. Must have the ability to work rapidly and under time pressure for extended periods of time in order to meet build requirements. Must possess the ability to read build sheets and blueprints.
•The ability to communicate with supervisors and fellow workers in both written and verbal forms at a level normally acquired through the completion of a high school diploma or GED is required.
•Job specific skills, techniques and safe work and equipment operating practices are learned through on-the-job and classroom training. General instructions are given on recurring duties, operations and assignments; detailed instructions are given on new duties, operations and assignments.
