Library Associate
Full-Time, 12-month (1.0 FTE)

Position Summary:
Valley City State University welcomes applications for the position of Library Associate. This position will support the library's core functions by assisting in student worker supervision, interlibrary loan, collection management, office management, circulation supervision, and other duties as assigned by the Director of Library Services. Great communication, organization, and customer service skills are essential. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and prioritize effectively. This is a full-time benefitted position with a flexible schedule which may include some evening and weekend work.
Minimum Qualifications:
An Associate's degree, two years of related experience, excellent communication and customer service skills, excellent problem-solving and organization skills, and an attention to detail are required.
Preferred Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree and experience in a higher education setting and/or an academic library environment are preferred.
Compensation:
$27,000-$30,000. Comprehensive fringe benefit package including employer paid full family coverage for health insurance, NDPERS retirement, and tuition waiver benefits.
