Dental Assistant or Surgical Tech

We’re seeking a full-time certified dental assistant or Surgical Tech to join our team at Valley Oral & Facial Surgery in Grand Forks! 
This person will be a positive and energetic team player committed to creating an exceptional overall patient experience while promoting a safe, pleasant, and harmonious environment for  doctors, staff and patients. 
We want dental/surgical assistants who: 
• Assist with surgical procedures
 •take x-rays
• Greet every patient with a warm introduction, a smile, and a THANK YOU for coming to our office! 
• Create positive patient relations 
• Anticipate, are proactive, and have active listening skills 
• Maintain office and operatory cleanliness 
• Record treatment information in patient records 
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment 
• Conduct work in compliance with office policies and procedures, safety, OSHA, guidelines • Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and nonverbal) 
• Works well within a team or independently 
• Maintains an outgoing, welcoming attitude in all situations 
• Works with interruptions and managing multiple priorities  
• Can learn quickly in a fast-paced environment 
• Must be flexible and adaptable to change 
• North Dakota license required Compensation commensurate to experience and education/certification.
