Delta Construction Partners is a national executive search firm for the nation's premier electrical contractors and industry professionals. Delta has been retained by a confidential client to conduct a search for the position of Solar Project Manager, Redwing/Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Solar Project Manager- Compensation & Benefits
Total compensation for the Solar Project Manager Redwing/Minneapolis, MN is between $100,000 and $130,000 depending on experience and may be more than this range for candidates with exceptional experience and successful history of performance.

Solar Project Manager Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage company projects on time and within budget while abiding by all health, safety, quality, and legal requirements
- Utility or Commercial Scale Solar/PV experience of 20 MW or higher
- Work closely with the engineering, development, construction, and operations teams in analyzing various procurement options for projects and assure procurement activities are performed consistent with established schedules and budgets
- Develop and maintain contacts and relationships with subcontractors. Help with vetting, pricing and qualifying subcontractors
- Implement the process of measuring vendors and contractor's performance and for monitoring risk exposure
- Provide progress reports and other status updates to client and management as required
- Develop solar projects, simultaneously working with land development, permitting, business development, finance, legal, environmental, and engineering
- Create full project development schedules and high-level construction and interconnection schedules, to establish reasonable and achievable construction start and commercial operation dates
- Perform site visits on a regular basis or in an office environment
Solar Project Manager Qualifications
- Strong employment stability
- 1-3 years' experience working in Commercial or Utility scale Solar projects
- 5-10 years of progressive experience as a Project Manager, Construction Manager Project Engineer, Development Engineer or Superintendent
- Experience with Subcontracting industrial or large commercial electrical work
Preferred but Not Necessary
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
