Solar Project Engineer- Compensation & Benefits

Total compensation for the Solar Project Engineer in Red Wing, MN is between $70,000 and $85,000 depending on experience, and may be more than this range for candidates with exceptional experience and successful history of performance.

Solar Project Engineer Duties & Responsibilities

• Work closely with Project Manager and Superintendents in developing schedule and tracking the project to maintain budget and time frame until completion of project
• Assist with management of subcontractors and vendors
• Support projects and execute construction of Solar PV projects
• Prepare RFP's for subcontractors
• Assist Project Managers in the preparation of the budget
• Quality control assistance
• Perform site visits

Project Engineer Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or physical science
• Entry level to 3 years' experience in related design or construction management
• Valid Drivers License-will be travel on occasion or remote
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Solar knowledge highly preferred

Preferred but Not Necessary

• Solar/Renewable Energy experience
