This position's primary function is to provide support to the Optum Care Operations team in the development and maintenance of a monthly financial forecast model(s). It is also responsible for the preparation and analysis of a set of key statistical trending reports, performing and maintaining PMPM analysis and other Ad Hoc analysis on an "as needed" basis. This position also provides support for time tracking activities including defining and maintaining projects and task profiles in the time tracking tool, ensuring time tracking compliance by the project team members, and reporting out summary numbers to the Finance team for chargeback and other such activities.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide support in the development and maintenance of a monthly financial forecast models
• Financial Modeling
• Analysis of key statistical trending reports used for cost monitoring
• Provide statistical and financial Ad Hoc analysis on an "as needed" basis
• Administer and support time tracking tool used for capturing and tracking Project time for Optum Care Operations
• Assist in preparation of financial presentations

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or High School Diploma/GED and 4+ additional years of experience as stated in the required qualifications
• 2+ years of experience with financials and/or forecasting
• 2+ years of experience working in the healthcare industry
• Experience in data mining, statistics or data analysis
• Financial modeling experience
• Advanced user in MS Excel including professional experience using Excel functions (V-lookup, Index Match, etc.), managing macros, and basic usage of VBA
• If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SQL and advance VBA usage in Microsoft Office suite of products

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $64,800 to $116,000.
